Having worked in large corporate environments and family owned businesses, Charlie has a comprehensive business background spanning over 29 years which includes experience in startups as well as established entities. Charlie spent a large portion of his career as President of manufacturing and service firms and served on the boards of both state and nationally chartered banks. His experience comes from direct hands-on management and ownership of small to mid-size companies.

As founder and President of Powell & Associates, Inc., a Mancos Colorado firm that offers business intermediary services, business valuations, consulting and negotiating services; Charlie has consulted, evaluated and transferred ownership of manufacturing, service, retail, distribution and professional practice firms ranging from food service to high tech. He specializes in representing small to mid-size, privately held profitable companies to a network of qualified, serious buyers on a national and international basis. Charlie supports entrepreneurial clients throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah with national and international business transfer services.
